Where do we begin?

When we wrote the first comprehensive proposal for the use of
interactive multimedia in the development, production, marketing and
merchandising of entertainment product for the American Film
Producers Association (AFPA) back in 1987, there were few in the
world who understood the concept, much less the enormous future
for its application.

Our original idea was to tie available 'user friendly', but traditionally
'non-integrated,' sectors of the mass communications industries
(namely, television, telephone and computer) together in a simple
cooperative configuration. This would provide consumers a certain
'leverage' stemming from their universal interest in film and TV and
extending to products, goods and services related to the content of
their Intellectual Properties (IP).

Our proprietary methods for gathering a significant data base of
consumer related information made it possible to attach major
promotional opportunities that resonated with the general public.
This was the basis for the American Film Producers Association
(AFPA) plan from which the modern business model for
all Internet
Service Providers (ISP) was born.

And then...

By the following year (Spring, 1988), the budding conversation called
"Internet commerce" had grown into a low hum, mostly promoted by
the 'techies' and 'digerati', all of whom seemed to grasp the
magnitude of the commercial possibilities with dire interest. Since
then, it has become a dominant force in the development of new
commerce. This may have occurred with or without our input, but the
fact is, we were there first. Before MIT, before Silicon Valley, we
mapped the course.

Over the past decade and a half, the concept has grown into a
Trillion-dollar generator for global business. It now encompasses all
aspects of the World's economy. Our initiative may be seen in the
development campaigns for virtually every major industry, but
nowhere more than in the entertainment business. We have
measurably influenced the "major" studios, major 'minis', every
producer and creative talent currently contributing to this culture.
While we are satisfied with the way our efforts have altered the
commercial landscape (entertainment commerce has quadrupled
over the past 15 years), we still have a long way to go.

What now?

Our primary interest is the development, production, marketing and
merchandising of quality entertainment and related products. Our
pure intention is that they positively impact important issues in an
entertaining way. However, as a major consultant to "content
providers and developers", our purpose is to assist them in the
profitable delivery of their movies and other entertainment products.
By designing an open architecture using interactive multimedia, the
People have a new value in the success formula. In fact, audience
input becomes essential interaction.

Since the earliest days of our first incarnation (The Filmax
Corporation of New York), until the present, we have remained ahead
of the curve. There are many who can and will attest to, not only the
validity, but the profitability generated by our processes and
methods. We have used the Film-Rx FILM System tools (SDP and
VIMM Reports) to explore previously unforeseen and unanticipated
commercial possibilities. In fact, most of our early contributions have
become highly valued industry-wide standards.

The entire entertainment world knows our work and the viability of
our programs. They improve the chances and reduce the odds for
general public acceptance of product in the Global marketplace.

From the Internet, to your local movie house, to your home TV, PC,
Ipod, PDA, Cell or other video screen, our impact is being
experienced every day.

And Tomorrow...
We thank you for your interest, invite you to join us, and look forward
to creating the Future of Entertainment,
together!

Come back and see us, soon!
